Why do This?

Better yet, why does this podcast even matter?

Short answer: If a worry-filled life is easily accessible, then I want a peace-filled life to be even MORE accessible.

If you want the long-version, here's my story -

In 2022, I take this hair baldness test online. I’m losing chunks of hair. I’m scared.

I’m only 25.

The result of the test was this - “hair loss due to extreme stress”. Long story short - I quit my job as a full-time therapist in non-profit. Then in late 2022, I shift my energy to doing less.

Less time working. Less commitments.

I do this so I can learn the art of “better”. For me, better = free from internal tension. So I can still make money, I take a job as a private practice therapist.

I go from working 50-70 hours/week to 40 hours or less/week.

By stressing less, I realize my mental clutter ate away at my ability to develop deeper relationships. For me, mental clutter looks like this: endless worry, perfectionism, overwork, no "real time" for friends or family. And, after recovering from all that, life feels WAY better.

My grandma says I'm more fun to be around. I believe her.

Fast forward to now, I create the"Minimalist Creators Podcast" out of the genesis of my recovery. It is a podcast to help other people recover from mental exhaustion, too. So, if you want to go from stressed to blessed - follow me so I can show you how! (I’m not spammy or anything, I promise)

Subscribe to "Minimalist Creators," today and your future self will thank you.

Our 3 Bullets -

(What it means to be a Minimalist Creator and Make Marie Kondo Proud — Without Talking to Your Socks!)

1. If it doesn’t move us forward, it’s not worth our time

Make deliberate choices about what to keep in your life, whether it's physical possessions, digital clutter, or time commitments. Remember, what we say ‘yes’ to ultimately determines our direction in life.

2. Depth > Distractions

Be fully present and aware of the choices you make, rather than accumulating things or obligations mindlessly. It's about considering the long-term impact of your decisions.

3. Prioritize Experiences, not Possessions

Value experiences, personal growth, and relationships over material possessions. Conscious minimalism encourages you to invest in memorable experiences rather than accumulating more stuff.
